OLLI

Osher Lifelong Learning
Institute (OLLI)

Carrying on the 16-year tradition of ElderCollege, Osher Lifelong Learning
Institute (OLLI) at the University of Nevada, Reno is a member-directed
organization sponsored by Extended Studies that offers short-term
educational experiences for adults 50 and over. OLLI seeks to foster intellectual stimulation, new interests and personal development through academic pursuits, and to provide a community in which to gather, get acquainted and socialize.

For more information about membership, courses offered and scholarships, call an OLLI volunteer at (775) 784-8053, email olli@unr.edu or visit http://www.olli.unr.edu.

Most courses and events are included with the $45 annual membership fee, and held at the Warren Nelson Building, 401 W. Second St., Reno, the
University's off-campus OLLI facility. Parking for OLLI is located on Second
Street or in the city parking lot just east of the Warren Nelson Building.
Parking in the city lot is $2 for 12 hours, or $16 for an annual permit.

While ElderCollege has changed its name, its founding principles as a
member-driven learning-in-retirement organization will remain as strong asever. As ElderCollege has done since 1991, OLLI at the University of Nevada, Reno will provide a distinctive array of courses and activities for seasoned adults interested in learning for the joy of learning.

The OLLI philosophy is to provide, for a modest membership fee,
college-level academic experiences for all its members, regardless of their educational backgrounds.
